Canadian Entrepreneur

Adam Gant is a Canadian entrepreneur and thought leader with a lifelong love for real estate development and housing finance systems. Intrigued by engineering and architecture since he was a child, it wasn’t hard for him to find his way into a job that requires technical knowledge in a creative form. Over the years, Adam has developed a portfolio that includes residential, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, land development, and seniors care. He has worked with private real estate funds and public real estate investment vehicles, giving him a full understanding of the multifaceted real estate marketplace.

Adam’s educational path began in Engineering Physics at the University of British Columbia. But an increasing fascination with real estate and finance led him in a different direction. Relocating to Victoria to train with the National Rowing Team, he simultaneously began his real estate career. This period marked significant milestones in both his athletic and professional endeavours.

Following the growth of a real estate company and the lessons learned from the credit crisis, Adam became interested in the ways global housing finance works. His studies have brought him to Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Singapore to research novel mortgage markets and housing programs. Recognizing the potential to adapt these approaches to North American markets, Adam began developing strategies to enhance housing finance systems domestically.

Adam currently advises various real estate groups, helping businesses navigate complex issues and capitalize on growth opportunities. Though his focus is on capital structure and capital raising strategies, he is proficient in all areas of real estate acquisition, finance, development, and management. From conception to execution, Adam is dedicated to maximizing value, ensuring solid liquidity and long-term growth.

Adam’s formal education consists of executive programs in Mergers and Acquisitions and Financial Management at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He graduated from the 2011 EO Entrepreneurial Masters Program with MIT Endicott College in Boston. He is a CFA Charterholder and recently completed a degree in general studies in 2025. These experiences have made him a more strategic thinker and have galvanized his dedication to lifelong learning, taking him to new heights in the real estate profession.
